DIHGS® stands for Dignified In Hospital Gowns. They are a modern alternative to the traditional open back hospital gowns, designed to provide patients with enhanced comfort and dignity while maintaining functionality for healthcare providers.

DIHGS® (Dignified In Hospital Gowns) are for anyone! If you are unsure, please contact us.

Can I wear DIHGS® while I am in the hospital?

YES! We designed DIHGS® to have all the functionality that your healthcare providers need to care for you while in the hospital, while maintaining your dignity and keeping you covered! DIHGS® can be worn in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, and at home during recovery.

I am caring for someone who is bedridden, can they wear DIHGS®?

Absolutely! DIHGS® are perfect for someone who is bedridden or needs assistance getting dressed. The functional design allows for the patient to be dressed in bed with minimal movement.

What if I am between sizes?

DIHGS® come in a range of sizes and are designed to be adjustable to ensure a comfortable fit for every patient. If you are inbetween sizes, please size up to ensure that you have room for comfort. For example, if you normally wear a size Medium to Large, size up to the L/XL. For more details and dimensions, please refer to our Size Chart.

Can I purchase just the top/bottom and not the full set? 

Yes! You can purchase of the top and bottom individually if you are interested in purchasing them separately. You can also mix and match sizing for the top and bottom if needed. For example, if you are a S/M top but need a L/XL bottom you can do this by purchasing them separately instead of as a set to ensure proper sizing.

Are DIHGS® approved by healthcare professionals?

Yes, DIHGS® have been designed in collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure they meet the required standards for functionality and patient care.

Can I wear my DIHGS® to surgery?

It depends. You cannont wear DIHGS® (Dignified In Hospital Gowns) to surgery if you purchased DIHGS independently through our website.

You can wear DIHGS® to surgery if you were given the information on DIHGS® through your surgeon's office. We are working on making this avaible at more facilities in the future. If you are a physician who is interested in offering DIHGS® as an option to your patients, please contact us HERE.

What if DIHGS® were offered through my surgeon’s office?

Design

Are there pockets in DIHGS®?

Yes, DIHGS® are equipped with strategically placed pockets to provide patients with a convenient storage option for medical devices such as drains, cardiac monitors, or nerve blocks.

Are DIHGS® available in any other colors?

Currently, DIHGS® are only available in royal blue. However, we are actively working on expanding our color options to offer more customization choices in the future.

Do you offer a pants option?

Currently, DIHGS® are only available in shorts. This has been a common request and we plan to offer a pants version of DIHGS® in the future.

Are DIHGS® designed to accommodate medical devices or IV lines?

Absolutely. DIHGS® are designed with accessibility in mind and feature discreet openings and fasteners that allow for the easy routing of medical devices and IV lines without compromising patient comfort or dignity.

Are DIHGS® for both men and women?

Yes, DIHGS® are designed to be suitable for both male and female patients. DIHGS incorporate adjustable elements such as ties, overlaps, and drawstring waistband to enable patients to customize the fit according to their preferences and body shape, ensuring optimal comfort. Please refer to our Size Chart for specific dimensions.

How do I launder DIHGS®?

DIHGS® are designed with easy-care in mind. They are machine washable and can be tumble dried. Care instructions are provided.

Are DIHGS® designed to maintain patient privacy during examinations or procedures?

Absolutely. DIHGS® incorporate thoughtful design elements, including strategically placed overlaps and closures, to ensure privacy and modesty during examinations or procedures while still allowing healthcare providers easy access when needed.

Can DIHGS® be worn during imaging tests or scans?

Yes, DIHGS® are designed to be compatible with all imaging tests and scans, including MRIs. DIHGS have plastic snap closures, to ensure patient safety during tests and scans.

Shipping

How much does shipping cost?

We offer FREE SHIPPING on all retail orders. No minimum order. 

Shipping costs for wholesale orders vary based on your location, quantity ordered, and the shipping method chosen. For more details, please refer to our Shipping Policy.

How long until my product arrives?

5-7 business days. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for more details.

Do you offer international shipping?

No, we currently do not offer international shipping outside of the United States.

Can I track my shipment?

Yes, once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this tracking number to monitor the status of your shipment. If you did not receive a tracking number, please Contact Us.

What if my package is lost or damaged during shipping?

In the rare event that your package is lost or damaged during shipping, please contact our customer support team HERE. We will work with you to resolve the issue and ensure your satisfaction.

Can I ship directly to someone in the hospital?

At this time you cannot ship DIHGS® directly to someone in the hospital. If you know someone who is in the hospital who would benefit from DIHGS®, we recommend shipping to a home address and personally delivering them to the hospital.

Returns

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy. If you are not satisfied with your DIHGS® purchase, you can initiate a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Please refer to our Returns Policy page for detailed instructions.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

If you are returning DIHGS® due to a manufacturing defect or an error on our part, we will cover the return shipping costs. However, if you are returning the product for other reasons, you will be responsible for the return shipping fees.

How long does it take to process a return?

Once we receive your returned DIHGS® and it is inspected, we aim to process the refund to your original form of payment within 5-10 business days. Please note that the refund processing time may vary based on your payment method and financial institution.
